When asked "Where does the South begin", Paul Greenberg replied, "The south begins at the Mammoth Orange restaurant in Redfield."  We agree with Paul.  We are proud to be a small town full of southern hospitality.  We have a rich history and a promising future.  When you come to visit, you will want to stop at one of our wonderful restaurants to pack a picnic lunch. You should then go visit our city park, and don't forget your fishing pole!  Maybe drive just a few miles to Tar Camp, a corp of engineers managed park, where you can hike a nature trail,  go camping or boat on the beautiful Arkansas river.  Our pride in our town runs as deep as that old river does.  So come be our guest, you'll see what Paul meant.

We are located approximately 22 miles southeast of Little Rock, Arkansas
